Obviously, the larger the company or project an animator is involved in, the larger the compensation. Computer animators can also decide to do freelance work and be sort of independent contractors. Obviously, this is a little riskier in terms of job stability but it also reduces boredom and feeling trapped in a job that isn’t right for the individual.
