About Brown College Minnesota

Brown College is located in Minnesota and was founded in 1946 as an institution to train students for a career in broadcasting. The founders, Richard and Helen Brown, were pioneers in vocational education. The school added courses in electronics, computer programming, and television production in 1954 and the name changed to Brown Institute.

The university once again changed its name in 2001 to Brown college as it expanded to include even more programs such as computer technology, game design and development, and information technology.

Brown College Minnesota is located near the Mall of America and the Twin Cities. Brown also has a branch campus in Brooklyn Center. Brown College Minnesota has a reputation for preparing students for successful careers.
