American Sentinel Online Review – About the school

American Sentinel is unique in that it offers online education to students in 120 countries and courses are open for enrollment several times per month.  Courses are completed in either 8 or 12 week terms.  Busy adults can take advantage of the fact that courses do not require students to be at a computer at specific times of day.  Students complete courses on their own timeline whether that be days, nights or weekends and can choose from 6 technology bachelor’s degree programs including Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Systems Security, Management Information Systems and Web Design and Development.  Of particular interest is the Bachelor of Science Computer Science, Game Programming Specialization.  This degree allows students to take advantage of one of today’s largest and most exciting growth industries by pairing the core aspects of computer science with intensive instruction in game programming.

American Sentinel Online Review – Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for Associate Programs is $255 per credit hour.  Tuition for Bachelor’s Programs is $295 per credit hour and tuition for Master’s Programs is $355 per credit hour.  Spouses, family members, co-workers of any current student and alumni are eligible for a tuition reduction.

Special tuition rates apply for members of the military such as active members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Reserves & National Guard; all honorably discharged veterans; auxiliary and spouses of the above named members.  Tuition for those that qualify is $245 per credit hour for Associate Programs; $250 per credit hour for Bachelor’s Programs; and $250 per credit hour for Master’s Programs.

Admissions advisors are available to help students with financial support options including Student Loan Programs, Employer Reimbursement, Need-Based Grant Program, Payment Plans, In-School Loan Deferment and Hope or Lifetime Learning Tax Credit.
